Take a visit to Gitega cultural center known for the cultural dance of Burundi people and royal family, the Musée National de Gitega, is the best museum Burundi has to offer, experience the drumming ritual at Gishora drum sanctuary and spend the evening on lake Tanganyika and overnight as above
Enjoy scenic drive from Gitega to Bukavu in Congo which can take 5- 6 hours and in the evening take a visit to the Fulani and banyamulenge, nomadic tribes, learn how these people managed to get their cultural norms and overnight at Bukavu orchids

Lowland gorilla trekking at Kahuzi-Biega National Park starts with registration and briefing at the park offices. The park authorities will assign you to one of the four habituated Eastern Lowland Gorilla groups.
Once you find them take time to observe, take as many photos and videos as much as you can because you will only have one hour with them.

You will have an early breakfast and be driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the rues of Gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will start the trek in thick jungle with your guides to find the Gorillas.
Trekking gorillas in virunga national park is quite challenging as it involves moving over rugged terrain of steep slopes and valleys, often wet and muddy but very lively with rich forest sounds. The trek takes 2 – 8 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sighted.and overnight at kibumba camp
