Day 1: Transfer-Volcanoes National Park

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be picked by by our company driver/ representative who will transfer you to Musanze-Ruhengeri District at Volcanoes National park to track the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. En-route, you will visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial as well as the two twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. You will reach the park in the evening and transfer direct to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge [luxury], Lap-lame Hotel [mid-range]or  Kinigi Guest House[budget] for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B.

Wake up have breakfast then with your packed lunch proceed to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze Ruhengeri District. When here, you will transfer to the Head Quarters where you will be briefed on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 you will transfer into the forest to track the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their natural vegetation habitat. When you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay i their presence taking photos then later you will transfer back to the head quarters to receive your Gorilla Trekking Certificate and then back to Kigali for your flight back home.
