3 Days chimpanzee trekking Rwanda

DAY 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest.
Meet at the hotel in Kigali and transfer to Butare town (lunch at Ibis Hotel Butare), visit Rwandan National museum, Murambi genocide memorial site and proceed to Nyungwe forest , relax in the evening at Nyungwe forest lodge (Superior) / Peace guest house (Deluxe & Budget) as wait for dinner and overnight.

 

 


DAY 2: Chimpanzee & Other Primates Tracking
Nyungwe Forest is a home to 13 primate species; these include chimps, Blue Monkeys, L'Hoest's, and Angolan black and white Colobus among others. Expect an encounter with huge habituated chimpanzees troops between 400 - 500 individuals! All meals and overnight at your lodge (day1).

DAY 3: Reserved for departure
Morning transfer back to Kigali, Rwanda’s capital, visit Gisozi genocide memorial site, local art & craft markets and interact with local people, later depart to the airport for your scheduled flight.
