Tanzania Masai Mara Safari (12 Days, 11 Nights)

Day 1. Arusha Nat. Park
Pick up from your hotel and depart at 9.00am for Arusha National Park with
your lunch boxes for a full day tour of the park, including the option of
walking half day with a park ranger. Dinner and overnight in Arusha hotel.

Day 2. Lake Manyara
After breakfast leave Arusha then proceed to Lake Manyara Park arriving in
time for lunch. Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara
lodge

Day 3. Lake Manyara/Serengeti
Morning game drive in Manyara Park, a park dotted with exotic trees such
as the giant fig, baobab and mahogany and famous for lions that sprawl on
trees (though rare these days). Depart after lunch for Serengeti National
Park arriving Lobo Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Serengeti National Park
Full day in Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling
grasslands studded with wildlife for as far as the eye can see. All meals
and overnight at Lobo Lodge.

Day 5. Serengeti National Park
Another morning game drive, then depart after lunch and go Seronara Lodge
in Serengeti with evening game drive dinner and overnight in Seronara
Lodge.

Day 6. Serengeti/Ngorongoro
Another morning game drive, then depart after lunch and transfer to
Ngorongoro conservation via Olduvai Gorge for a short visit of the museum.
Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge.

Day 7. Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Full day at Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the classic experience of a safari
game drive on the floor of this scenic crater, the world's largest
caldera. Picnic lunch will be provided. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro
Wildlife Lodge.

Day 8. Tarangire National Park
Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and drive to Tarangire Nat. Park
arriving in lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in the park.
Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire lodge.

Day 9. Morning Drive to Kenya

Day 10; Maasai Mara National Park;
After breakfast depart crossing the western rim of the rift valley and the
loita plains, view scenarios enroute arriving Mara in time for lunch at
lodge. Afternoon game drive inside Kenya's greatest concentration of game
-Maasai mara game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova luxury
tented camp/Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 11; Maasai Mara;
Breakfast at lodge and leave with picnic lunches for a full day game drive
inside the Park. Search for wildgame black manned lion for which Mara is
famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle
are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for
you, hyenas are a-plentiful. Extend your drive to the hippo point where
schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface
seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles
sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape. Between meals there is optional
visit to the maasai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so
wish. Meals and overnight at Mara Sarova luxury tented camp/Mara Sopa
Lodge.

Day 12  Nairobi;
Pre- breakfast game drive, return to lodge for breakfast. After which you
depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
