Detailed Itinerary of 6 Days Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your 6 Days Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth Safari starts with pick up from Entebbe International Airport upon arrival or from your hotel in Entebbe after breakfast, and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Southwestern Uganda.
Along the way you will have a stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for pictures and lunch in Mbarara before continuing to Bwindi Forest arriving in the evening, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will meet your driver-guide and head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes for briefing about gorilla trekking. A senior ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow, in groups of 8 people you will head into the forest looking for mountain gorillas with an armed ranger and guide.
The trek takes approximately 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. You will spend one hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, the climax of this Uganda safari.
Later trek back to the park headquarters, meet your guide and return to your lodge for head to the Batwa community for a cultural experience to learn about their daily life, adding cultural richness to your Uganda safari.

Day 3: Transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi Forest and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector where you may see the lazy tree climbing lions lounging on fig tree branches. With a short game drive, head to your lodge for check in and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive exploring the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park and an opportunity to see several animals including elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-day adventure in the Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast and head to the park to track the rare tree climbing lions, best seen in trees during morning hours. On the game drives, you will also spoy leopards, elephants, warthogs, buffaloes and various antelopes.
In the afternoon you will head to the Kasenyi landing site to witness the locals going on with their daily activities.

Day 5 Transfer to the Kazinga Channel for the boat cruise
After breakfast, you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Northern sector for a morning game drive on which you will see several animals including lions, elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, hippos and several bird species.
In the afternoon you will head to Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. As you sail on the calm waters, keep your eyes open for sights of hippos and nile crocodiles in the waters, herds of buffaloes and elephants and several water birds along the shores. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala
Today is the final day of your Uganda Safari, enjoy a leisurely breakfast then start your return journey to Kampala with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
