Day 6: Fly to Kenya and transfer to Masai Mara.

Detailed itinerary for the 8 days Uganda’s primates and Kenyan safari
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
Depending on your pick-up point either Entebbe/ Kampala your driver guide will pick you up early in the morning, offer you a short briefing about your 8 days great migration and primates tour. Later commence on your drive to the primate capital of the world (Kibale National Park). The journey leads you through the picturesque countryside passing via popular towns such as Mityana and Kyejonjo.
Savor your journey to Fort Portal town, the Tooro kingdom’s capital, which is shaded by the Rwenzori, the legendary “Mountains of the Moon.” You will then continue driving to Kibale National Park from here. Once at the park, head to the safari lodge that you have reserved.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale National Park.

start the day with an early breakfast then drive to , join groups of other hikers at the park headquarters for a briefing. Here you will explained about the Dos and Don’ts of tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
Following the briefing, you will follow your ranger guide’s instructions and venture out into the jungle to look for the elusive chimpanzees. Depending on where the chimps are, the tracking will begin early and last approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees.
You will eventually find the primates after a lengthy hike through the bush, and you will get to spend an exclusive hour with them. Take pleasure in seeing them go about their day. There will be numerous chances for you to record and capture images of these primates in their natural habitat.
Once your time with the chimps is up, descend down to the starting location to meet your guide, who will take you back to your lodge for a relaxing meal.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation, travel to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to the endangered mountain gorilla. As you travel to Bwindi, you will pass through the picturesque countryside. Get to your reserved safari lodge during the afternoon. At the lodge, check in, then unwind in the lodge for the remainder of the afternoon.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi.

Day 4 starts with a cozy breakfast at your lodge then, leave for your amazing gorilla trekking excursion as you drive direct to the park headquarters.
Here you will take part in the briefing with other trekking groups from the park rangers. The briefing gives you detailed information on the safe conduct to comply while you are with the gorillas in their natural habitat. After that, you will be split up into eight-person groups and assigned to gorilla groups for the walk.
Once you are done with the briefing, start your gorilla trekking journey through the Bwindi’s thick forest. As you observe the forest’s biodiversity, the hike will lead you over difficult terrain and dense vegetation.
upon finding the gorillas spend the allotted 1 hour close with them. The one hour includes clear viewing of these primates as well as see them go about their daily activities such as foraging, playing and many more.
Return to the visitors center to pick up your certificate after your allotted time with the gorillas. Return to your lodge for a revitalizing supper and relaxation.
Optional visit to the Batwa community for a cultural experience.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe.
After an early breakfast, leave your accommodation in Bwindi and begin your drive back to Entebbe. The drive takes approximately 8 to 9 hours, with an En route meal at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara. Proceed with the journey arriving at Entebbe in the late evening. At Entebbe, you will be driven to your reserved hotel, where you will spend the remainder of the day.

Day 6: Fly to Kenya and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Kick start the day with a cozy breakfast the depart from your accommodation and drive to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kenya. Arrive at Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your Kenya safari guide will meet you and transport you to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
You can pause for breathtaking vistas as you drive across the rift valley’s floor. After wards you will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, where you will arrive in the evening. When you arrive in Masai Mara, head to the safari camp lodge you reserved.
Arrive at your lodge and check in.

Day 7: Full day adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Today, you will travel through the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, which is home to the African Big Five wildlife and the amazing wildebeest migration. Very early in the morning set out on a game drive into the expansive wilderness of Masai Mara as you spot plenty of wildlife such as lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, numerous antelope species, and elephants
Enjoy wildlife watching in the Mara, and visiting different wildlife hotspots within the reserve. As it nears time for lunch, start your drive back to the lodge. Arrive at the lodge and enjoy a hot lunch. After lunch and a short rest, embark on a cultural tour of the nearby Masai communities. Enjoy this opportunity to learn more about their culture, and way of life and have fun interacting with the locals.
As your day draws to a close, return to your booked safari lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay

Day 8: Transfer back to Nairobi and fly back home.
Early in the morning, after a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and prepare for your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your planned flight home. Your guide will bid fare well to you, safe travels. Today marks the end of the 8 days great migration and primates tour.
