Your tour starts with a deep exploration of Rwanda’s vibrant capital city Kigali. From here you will head to volcanoes national park to enjoy encounters with the gorillas, spend one hour with them then later visit the Ellen degenres camp. Explore Nyungwe’s chimpanzees and fly out and cross to Kenya to enjoy the true essence of a gamedrive as you spot plenty of animals. Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, City Tour & Genocide Memorial
Arrive at Kigali International Airport, meet up with your safari guide before being transferred to your accommodation for a seamless check-in. After a little relaxation, embark on city tour, stopping at significant monuments such as the Kigali genocide memorial center, Kimironko Market, and local artisan centers.
The city tour provides an insight into Rwanda’s rich history, culture, and incredible resilience. From here you will drive to your lodging in the evening, enjoy a cozy dinner followed by a comprehensive briefing about the next days activities.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park and Iby’Iwacu Cultural Visit
Early morning take your morning meals then depart from Kigali to volcanoes national park the only base for gorilla trekking in Rwanda. The journey is a scenic 2.5-hour as you wind through the beautiful hills of Rwanda. Upon arrival check in at your lodge, enjoy little relaxation as you wait for a hearty lunch.Following Lunch Visit the Ibyiwachu cultural village to discover about Rwandan customs, dances, and the way of life of former poachers who now defend gorillas. Experience storytelling, drumming, and a sampling of traditional banana beer.
Later drive direct to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Day 3 is the day to experience once life time experiences with the gorillas in their natural habitat. After breakfast at your lodge, drive with your guide to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park rangers about the safe and right way to behave while you are with the gorillas.
You will See a habituated gorilla family as you trek through bamboo and jungle trails, the experience can be emotional and enchanted, lasting up to an hour. Take a look at these gentle giants. After your experience descend down to the park headquarters to meet with your guide. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Late afternoon prepare to visit the Ellen degenres camp. The camp is a collection of the great works of the American primatologist Dianna Fossey. Later drive back to your lodge to enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Lake Kivu
Enjoy a unique primate experience today as you trek golden monkeys at Volcanoes National Park. Start the day with breakfast then depart to the park headquarters for a briefing about your golden monkey trekking experience. After the briefing, then descend in to the jungle in quest for these amazing creatures.
The Albertine Rift is home to these lively and entertaining primates. Watch them eat and jump around the bamboo jungle after a quick hike. From your experience drive to your lodge back to enjoy lunch.
Arrive in Gisenyi in the afternoon, then relax on the beach or take a sunset boat trip. Overnight in a lakeside resort with tranquil views of the water.

Day 5: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park (Scenic Drive)
Depart from Lake Kivu early in the morning for Nyungwe National Park a home to large concentrations of chimpanzee species. The drive is approximately a 6-7-hour session as you pass through Rwanda’s rugged hills and tea farms. En route meal will be taken on the way then proceed with your journey to Nyungwe np.
Upon arrival, check into your woodland lodge and unwind with views of beautiful foliage. In the evening, you can go on a guided nature walk or watch birds around the lodge.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest and Canopy Walk
Go on a chimpanzee hike in Cyamudongo or Uwinka at first light under the guidance of knowledgeable guides. Follow these active primates across a deep jungle to get a close-up look at their social behaviour.
Head out for the renowned Nyungwe canopy walk, an exciting experience hanging above the forest that provides sweeping views of the treetops and valleys below, after the trek and a leisurely meal.

Day 7: Fly to Maasai Mara, Kenya via Kigali and Afternoon at Leisure
After break fast at the lodge, check out and drive to Kigali airport, either by domestic flight or by vehicle, depending on your logistics. Arrive in Nairobi for your subsequent journey to the Maasai Mara in Kenya. After you arrive, head to your opulent safari camp, which is located close to the Mara River or in a private conservancy.
As you settle into your tent room, take in the views of the African savannah. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon with a massage or sundowner, if desired. The day ends with dinner outside under the stars.
Day 8: Full-Day Game Drives- Wildebeest Migration Experience
Begin a full-day wildlife drive to track the Great Wildebeest Migration over the plains of the Maasai Mara. Expect to see plenty of wildlife including thousands of zebras and wildebeests traveling in large numbers, perhaps over the Mara River, which is home to lions and crocodiles.
Your guide will drive you to the respective locations in order to watch and also capture spectacular encounters with the wildlife in the masai mara. Enjoy a picnic in the wilderness while admiring the scenery.
Later, return to your campsite by evening for a dinner by the fire and stories about the day’s amazing panoramas.
Day 9: Sunrise Balloon Safari & Maasai Cultural Visit.
Day 9 starts with a hearty breakfast at your lodging, then embark on a thrilling hot air balloon ride over the
Maasi Mara. Enjoy sunset views together with views of wildlife such as see elephants, antelope, and the migrating herds from above. After your magical experience you will eat a bush breakfast then head back to your camp to unwind.
Later visit a typical Maasai hamlet in the afternoon to discover more about their pastoral way of life, beading, and customs. A cultural encounter with the Masai makes your trip more colourful and enriched with deeper connections with the local communities.
Dinner and rest at your opulent camp or safari lodge
Day 10: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Nairobi for Departure
Wake up early eat breakfast, and then do a game drive to take in the Mara’s splendor and look for any species you might have overlooked. Check out and head to the airport for your domestic flight back to Nairobi after breakfast at the camp.Depending on your flight details, you can choose to visit the Giraffe Centre or the Karen Blixen Museum. End your wonderful safari with a drop-off at the airport or your preferred accommodation in Nairobi.
